JGTE!

JGTE is a concept endurance series,
that will feature concept Japanese machines.

It will be used for a personal story project,I'm creating.
It is a good opportunity to explore some ideas I have.

Like in Super GT,there will be 2 classes.
however this time the machines themselves will be way more powerfull,
classes will be GT800 and GT500 respectively.

The rules will be a mixture of super GT and WEC.
so those machines should drive faster than LMP2.

The first concept machine for this project is based on supra
For now it's named Shadowworks A90 concept.






I tried keep all those details that made supra so special, and work further on them.
Also considered Toyota's modern artistic direction.
If it was to be produced it would be the bigger brother of GT86.

The model itself is a wip,so I still have work to do.

is this something you are doing....for which reason?

I guess it is not a real championship...so what are you trying to achieve?

How large and experienced is your team?

What is your role?

Is a significant amount of money already invested in to this, or is it still a future dream?

It is not a real championship of course.

It is a mixture of 2 things,my love for super GT - JDM machines
and the need for a race event for my personal story project.

So at first I had the urge to create the concepts.
Then I had to find a way to fit them in the story.

The main event in the story is the 24h of suzuka.
Thus I decided to name it JGTE.very convenient ^^

Think more about that I just presented
a future supra concept in Super GT form

The series are described a bit to give some context to it's existence.
and what it is supposed to be.
other machines will follow at a later point.

I do not have money or any kind of investment to bring to life.
though I would absolutely love to ^^

The main reason I posted it,is to see what people think of it so far.
Since I will design properly most of it's part.

Made some changes in the mask area
details added in headlights and small corrections done in the mesh.

It now has a new mask intake design that works better with the tear ducts.
Bodywork panels are almost finished.
The chassis it uses is a modified version of the DOME ISAKU project GT300 mother chassis.
Mainly the rollcage is modified to fit the shape of the machine better.

Engine and gearbox are temporary taken from the 2006 SGT supra.
This version will share the same components with Toyota's current LMP1 machine, TS030.

Thank you erum for the information you provided,To be honest I would love to build me one,but I don't have any funds in order to do so other than a concept to be used in a story
it is also a future dream project...

For the time being I worked a bit more on the machine it self.
Major differences are the headlight design and rear aero.
Oh and made some rims for it as well...

The story is a fantasy one,suitable for an RPG type of game. It involves many different time periods and settings.
Back to the actual machines now...
