BTW I tried the front pod diffuser on my car, just for the sake of it.
I had problems with convergence and I do not use the KVRC tool.

I suspect that there are transient effects that cannot be captured with the steady state approach. And as steady state is the way to go for this competition I do not recommend using this kind of device.
It does not seem to benefit the performance anyways.

What do you mean with "front pod diffuser"?

I confirm your impression.

Top left image shows "with front pod diffuser", bottom left shows "without front-pod diffuser".

Thanks for the explanation. I tried something similar before the first race, but I could not make it working.

So you trust what I say, although you do not know what I am talking about?
I like you.

I didn't know what you meant with "front pod diffuser" but I had the opportunity to test the limit of a steady state solution in other areas. Not a matter of trust.

Yeah, i saw that too, yesterday :o

I will test it against my current wings. I expect my wings to have greater downforce but far less efficiency. Let's see what actually comes out...

I have been following the feed in the hope of something like that :D

Very interesting to see the actual shape of the airfoil from an F1 car.

I've a selection of wing profiles from the Marussia archive. I currently have a 2013 beam wing and 2014 upper element in progress to put on the Egoboost.

I would be interested in a beam wing. Mine is really bad.

I can't find the picture of a beam wing right now. Here's a monkey wing and crash structure instead.

Awesome!
Anything you have about wings would be of great help. Especially about the front wing assebly and the way airfoils are matched.
