Daniel will be on Top Gear next Sunday. Will be interesting to see what he can do.

And the new engines, clutches, gearboxes etc etc that they get through.

And the new script ;)

*edit* his 'time' was 1.42.2, compared to Hamilton's 1.42.9 & Vettel's 1.44.0

interesting, IF it's actually all a fair run, which imho, is open to an infinite amount of debate;
the most important one being indeed, the 'scripted' thing about topgear - view rates vs reality.....
let's just say every time an (current) f1 driver participates, you can expect them to beat their rival
times. better for views.

"Hamilton was beating Verstappen 7-0, then the ref decided F%$& rules, next goal wins
while also sending off 4 Hamilton players to make it more interesting"

Because it was recorded yesterday, and some of the audience have social media accounts.

I'm actually quite disappointed you posted this without at least some sort of "spoiler" type of heading.

I guess we'll find out when the episode airs soon.
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

This. I didn't know Ricciardo was on TG this weekend. I've come here and know what happens now. Thanks for that :roll:

Unfortunately it seems that Renault's weaknesses are not solved. They might have increased horsepower, but they remain inferior to Mercedes, and moreover they require more cooling. Maybe if they had less horsepower, but less cooling requirements, they could gather the performance back in a more efficient package, like they were used to do.

I bet they'll surely change engine manufacturer by next year, even if Honda shows to be slightly underpowered to the Renault, if Honda shows better driveability (better KERS?) and really have much less cooling requirement. If McLaren, who is known to have had bad packaging capabilities these years, is able to come with a such aero efficient package, then Red Bull are rubbing their hands.

Thanks for spoiling it!

Interesting to note that all 3 of his laps where the exactly same time according to TG.

It's a scripted tv show my man, the 'times' are not real. That's from a close family friend who worked on the show.
