Good if true as Williams aerodynamics have been poor for at least the last two seasons with them losing ground to less well financed teams such as Force India

Their aero has been poor since 2009.
The last good aero car they had was driven by Kubica and Heidfeld.
For Sure!!

I think you're thinking of BMW Sauber...

Great news! The '18 car should be much improved.

Williams made a good car in 2012, they just didn't have the driving talent at the time to make anything of it. Maldonado did win in Spain.

He's obviously talking about the BMW sauber circa 2008. I also agree that the 2012 Williams was very good and let down by the wheelmen.

Quietly one of the best aero minds in the sport, Dirk de Beer represents a big gain for Williams.

Yes. Looks like papa Stroll had a important contribution to convince Dirk de Beer to come to Williams.
Good vibes from the team. Now waiting for James Key as Technical Director.

Well, it complies with Bottas saying that the car behavior improved in low-speed sectors but lost out in the high-speed sectors on different circuits. Although, I think that in late 2014 and in 2015 it did make sense to concencrate on improving the cars low-speed perfomance.

However, is it even possbile to take the so-called "low-drag" Fw-36 and develop it into all-around decent performer?
