Thanks Zac Brown, you've saved McLaren and also made a few angry engineers at Torro Rosso :)

Here's to a McLaren Renault successful 2018!

Wait. You were the one who said it yould be 100% McLaren Mercedes in 2018. So how is the feeling of not being right and selling that as a win?
Nope definitely didn't say that you must be confused.

Renault have had some stagnation this year as a result of a complete concept overhaul. They should see more fruits from that new concept next year.
Sounds a lot like the Honda unit they are swapping out.

Deal gets done or not, i will hang around and make this guy miserable everytime Mclaren/Alonso alliance doesnt win a race or breaks down or Alonso goes on his on radio bantering

actually iam excited for next season.cant wait to see those suprise faces in mclaren when the redbull beat them easily. the honda bashing was ridicously by mclaren, but they cant hide anymore next season. mclaren never praised the honda engine for been one of the lightest out there thus helping them but continued to bash them. next year with a renault, we will see how overated the mclaren chassis is.
ooooh look whose back. where have you been for the last 7 months?

it's no good being lighter when you're 100hp down in almost every configuration

Do you know McLaren wall crew has a button (different from Jenson :P ) to ban any radio com they want so FIA can´t broadcast it?
Are you sure this is still True? I know it used to be true, but sometime around the last radio 'driver coaching' controversy last year, they changed the rules such that teams had many fewer (a limited number) of private messages, or they removed that privacy aspect regulation altogether.
I don´t know if there was some change at the respect. But I was refering to make it public to the audience, I guess FIA has access to every radio comunication to control drivers coaching, but that does not mean they have some right to send it to the TV without teams permission

Alonso moving to indy for a year would be the best for all parties involved. Let Honda work in peace for a year and then come back in 2019 for one final push to the title. Mclaren already has button on it's payroll.
wich means Mclaren actually use Alonso as a tool to put pressure on Honda

Removing Alonso won´t make things easier for Honda, only a performing PU will make things easier for Honda

I said this earlier as well, McLaren made the choice to go to Honda. They're being paid a fortune for it as well. I understand the bad PR at the start of the year but it's honestly getting boring and pitiful.

You are also living in a fool's paradise if you feel removing Alonso won't solve the issue. Honda aren't on the Merc-Ferrari PU level and having a low key, young driver certainly makes the media management a no-issue
Obviously it´s you who is living in a fool´s paradise  , as you´re specifically saying with a low key driver there would be no Honda bashing, so you assume McLaren would be happy and quiet with current PU if their drivers were Vandoorne and Norris for example

That´s how you rate McLaren, a team who wouldn´t complain if they finish 9th (2015), 6th (2016) and 9th(currently) in the WCC due to a poor PU? :wtf: :wtf:

It's interesting though that you say McLaren use Alonso to bad mouth Honda. Just out of curiosity I wanted to ask you, did Ferrari also intentionally use Alonso to put pressure on themselves?
Sorry but I don´t like comparing apples to oranges

Can you point me to some rant from Alonso in his days in red comparable to GP2 engine, or this is embarrasing? Not even the rant frequency is comparable, when in Ferrari he was a perfect team player in first 2-3 seasons, it´s only after loosing 2010 and 2012 titles in the final sprint when he became frustrated.

Anycase I´ll wait until you point me to some radio comunication wich is comparable before replying

As I said in my earlier post, McLaren is a legendary team that deserves to be at the front.
... but must be quiet if some of their partners make them finissh 9th when they should never be below 3th

Sorry schuttelberg but that´s not coherent

I think people, mainly Mclaren fans. They have to know that there will be no other year "2017" or "2015".
Honda already said that the engine architecture will be the same. If Mclaren finishes this year as the fourth fastest team, they will start in 2018 minimally, as the fourth fastest.
People are afraid to start as "2015" or "2017". Calm down, this is not going to happen anymore.

If I am wrong, you can correct me. Thanks
... pigs will fly

You´re welcome

PS: I know that was just an example, but since they´re 9th right now it should have been a bit more credible :P

"There has been no announcement as yet so a lot of this is pure speculation. It may happen or it may not. But it is no reason to fly off into personal abuse of others. A number of posts have been removed and I would ask you to confine your comments to McLaren - Honda, until such a time as when any official announcement is made , when you will then be able to comment on McLaren XXXXXX"

Remember this? The same still applies until such a time as there is an official announcement

You can't read then because I actually said the split is happening. Only mentioned that Mercedes might be interested once that happens which was not the case but nice try buddy :P
