Sounds like Gunter tore into Romain for his comments questioning the future of Haas. PER incoming imminent?

"Looking ahead to the future, with Haas recently signing the Concorde Agreement for the next five years, Steiner insists he is committed to bouncing back stronger in 2021.

“We are always working to get it better for the future," he added.

"We are not doing any development on this car. We need to get ready for next year's car and that is ramping up now because regulations may be getting clearer I’m told.""

Did I miss something? Thought they were racing the exact same car next year? Wouldn't it make more sense to do as much development as possible this year, as there will be development tokens for 2021??

I'd guess Perez and maybe Hulk, or would Haas look at an American?

Motorsport-Magazine.com:

Steiner does not rule out anything for the next driver duo. Not even two rookies. "Everything is possible," says the South Tyrolean when asked. Interesting: Steiner frankly admits that signing a new driver will also be about money.

Now it's time to get down to business. Will the Haas F1 name even be retained? This question alludes to a potential takeover, for example by Dimitry Mazepin, the extremely wealthy father of F2 pilot Nikita. Steiner assures in general: Haas F1 remains the name of the team. He himself would stay too.

Well.. maybe it will be team Marsepein-Haas, with their new logo

Doesn't remove the name Haas completely... (sorry all, Dutch joke)

Anyhow, I think Mazepin is near certain, and would not be surprised if Mazepin does go for a full takeover in some coming years. But for now, if he can buy the seat without buying the full team (with all costs and hassle), why would he buy it? In essence, same strategy as Stroll took. Go for the 'cheap' seat first, and scale up investments when needed.

Going for Perez would be a no-brainer IMO he is a good driver, and backed by his sponsors.
Then maybe have a young driver too, tbh I don't know too much about the current Ferrari young drivers

I think so too. Perez is a clear choice for Haas if Perez does not get silly with his contract details.
Next to him a Ferrari backed young diver or Mazepin. Perfect setup with an experienced driver and a new guy. Two new guys...difficult to judge, they also have the issue now that they have two most probably mediocre drivers without the possibility to judge how well they are doing with the car.

Gene Haas has had enough, Mazepin is coming in.

Logic would say, that the team will switch to a Renault technical partnership and lure in an Avtovaz sponsership. Make use of the Enstone windtunnel and takeover some experienced tech to setup a team and develop the ‘22 chassis in Banbury, instead of another Dalara fake Ferrari. Renault is obviously in an upward trend and Ferrari still clueless how to develop a proper car for 145M with a legal performing powerunit.

Than replace Schumacher and Kvyat for Schwarzman and Nikita

you think perhaps what Haas call a problem Ferrari call a tweak, but have not told them how to use it?
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.
