Did Mercedes switch multiple buttons on George steering so they are more Williams positioned?
I don't know about switching buttons (probably did) but he was heard asking for the direction to be reversed.
Bias forward or back in opposite direction of dial.

That'd be a new one. Last I read, they still hadn't sat down to discuss it.

If you find a source, post it ASAP haha. :D

It was during a practice session on skyF1. one of Davidson, DiResta or Herbert mentioned it.

What I heard on Sky F1 was that the financials had been agreed, what hadn't was the promotional commitments, aka the non race weekend travelling stuff.

What I hear (from media, so unreliable) is that it is about control/ownership of his own image. If it belongs to Hamilton or Merc.

well just save money and sign russell, seems that the 6 championships will look even worse than they already do to Hamilton if Russell that has just 3 practice sessions in a completely new car gets pole or wins...

I think they are saying that because of his press conference reply to the question about Franz Tost

It looks like Russell is running more downforce than Bottas? He seems to have less straightline speed. Either that or his head is that much more draggy than Bottas'.

Also, there was some discussion on the camera position. Looks to me the camera was in the same position but the camera on Russell's car was set to a wider FOV based on the more distorted (fish-eye effect) image from his car.

Yeah that was bizarre losing time on the straight in S1 before T1 . . .

Was wondering what that was about myself.

Actually, I take that back... Now that I've rewatched it a few times, it looks like Russell just did not hook his exit on the final corner as well as Bottas did hence the lower top speed at the start of the lap. It looks like Russell was actually making more time on the straights so Bottas was probably the one running more downforce.

And of course give Grosjean an opportunity to drive the w10. https://www.gpblog.com/en/news/74264/me ... do-it.html Couldn't be a better tribute to give him a feel of a championship winning car.
