One last important update, which they have already tested in SA.

It apparently gained them some top speed, but lost them some rear downforce so it was not worth using there.

The report claims that Sergio Perez tried a small adjustment to the floor of his car in Saudi Arabia, with Verstappen set to receive the same treatment at the next time of asking.

The purpose of the change will be to reduce drag in order to aid straight-line speed and boost their chances of competing with Mercedes in terms of raw pace.

However, there were said to be concerns in Saudi Arabia that the update was reducing grip through medium-speed corners.

Red Bull went on to reverse the change to Perez's car for the rest of the weekend as the disadvantages outweighted the advantages on the downforce-heavy streets of Jeddah.

Don't know why that report claims it as 'risky'. If it seems to not be working they will just switch it back to the old spec

Maybe they feel if it doesn't work, they will have lost valuable setup time?

FP2 is the only practice session that's will be held in similar conditions to qualifying and the race. FP1 & FP2 should be much hotter!

It could also be bits for the cars that were damaged at the previous race. Both cars took hits that will need replacement parts, although unlikely to be so many that they need that much volume.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Could you post more information please? What is the update, and what are the potential benefits? Images would be excellent.
