Damn. F these mediocre drivers. He could have been second after that 1st turn. I don't know what you guys think but McLaren has less luck than Ferrari this year.

Ricciardo's onboard start. Got away great, the red seas parted and then it turned to ---. Sounds like he called Stroll a c$#khead too.

hahahaha it does look like that actually. Shame as he almost free and clear ahead and out of nowhere he gets wacked from the right side.
Dan passed Alonso off the line like he was standing still. Lando's start too was mega. Yep he was rightly pissed off. Such a shame, our guys are very good wheel to wheel and get taken out by idiots like Bottas and Stroll just being reckless and out of control. Huge points lost there.

He easily would have won that race. Stroll that pay driver daddys boy is such a joke of a driver. No idea hows hes on the grid along with Mazepin. Ridiculous bad luck for both Lando and Dan.

Dan will be fine next season. Lando's 3 year or so headstart with the same design philosiphy has obviously allowed him to know the finer details in setup and how to brake the car into corners.

I saw in one of the video's dan was talking with James Key giving his input how where the car needs to change which obviously would suit his driving style more.

Confident we will see a superstrong Ric in 2022.

Yes Ric gained 4 positions by the 1st corner. then wack
Lando also gained 3 spots then wack.
Both mclarens were mega on the starts in the wet.

So angry after that stupidity from Bottas and Stroll! Totally destroyed the Mclaren race and cost huge points!

Daniels car had huge damage to the floor, pretty amazing he held on to 10th for as long as he did.

Wow that's heaps of damage yet I've heard some calling for him to be sacked and he was hopeless bla bla on other forums. So ridiculous. Did well considering his floor was trashed.

But Alonso stayed out of trouble. Maybe he had thought it through.

It is going to be interesting second half wherein Mclaren and Ferrari are both equal in points(hoping AM P2 gets stripped off) ... Most of the power circuits suits McLaren but Richardaro's performance going to be the deciding factor.

I wonder if this week 18" tyre test will be helpful to Daniel

Not very good resolution, but this is Daniel’s damage after the T1 incident:

Unlikely, he just made a slower start which proved lucky - Daniel was doing an amazing job keeping out of trouble until Stroll crashed into Leclerc and sent him crashing into the side of Daniel!

Yep some really irrational posters out there. Dan gets questioned about his wet weather driving but that was some great car control with two wheels almost off track at the start and after it while many spun off, he even had Sainz going off in T2 as well that he had to avoid too. Alas, what might have been if not for those 2 clowns with thier torpedoes who thought they were playing Battleship instead of driving in F1.

Ric jumped 4 cars on the start in the wet and kept out of trouble and was in clear air. 1 of the best starts of his career wet or dry. If he did not get rammed, damaging the entire floor he would have most likely won the race.

And everybody would have credited this as the best win of Rics career a 10 out of 10 drive from start to finish.

Instead he had a damaged floor all race, ends up out of the points through no fault of his own and now he is rated just 1 out of 10 and should be fired based on many of the replies i am hearing.

Such a huge over reaction all based on emotion and nothing else.

Yep fantastic start, would have been easy to lose it being two wheels on the paint/grass there at the start. Apart from qualli making a mistake in one corner off the kerb and sliding out of it missing q3 what did he do wrong this weekend? One step away from a huge result but gets taken out, yet he gets caned for it by some people. Its just completely unreasonable and ridiculous. He is improving but just needs to put it all together in qualifying, because his racecraft and pace is decent. But really you can't blame him for anything in that race given how bad the car damage was.

Great article on Dan from Andreas Stella. Dan is there for the long haul. Everything else from the cheap seats calling for him to be replaced, is not good enough etc is just background noise. They know what he brings to the table over many years in different cars and what needs to be done going forward and no doubt are aiming for 2022 as the big year to start fighting for wins.
