Fascinating little vid of 30k rpm Wankel.

I don't know how many here are interested in this, but I was fascinated.
Guy has a Wankel engine set up with a transparent plate and destruction tests it to 30k rpm

Some good links to other 'projects 'too

30k RPM, but 90k exhaust pulses per minute (1500 Hz). 8) But where have I heard that sound before? Hmmm...

Ten cylinders * fifty percent firing rate * 18.000 RPM / 60 seconds = 1500 Hz

Guy used to run a Wankel powered dragster. A Mazda engine I believe. Was ear splitting, but fast for it's class.

Back in the day I remember watching Bo O’Brochta run something like a 7.62 on his Kawasaki.
Carried the front wheel to just short of the 1320 line.

Actually in retrospect it was a seven second run but I think it was faster than 7.62.
Long time ago in what was called Pro-Stock Bike,
Sadly Bo is no longer with us.
