Right to work in the UK
A points-based system is the UK's immigration system for managing applications by individuals from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland wishing to work, train or study in the UK. This system simplifies routes to employment and education in the UK to five tiers. If you come from outside the EEA, you need to gain points to qualify for a specific tier before you can apply to work in the UK. The number of points required varies for each tier but reflect the applicants' qualifications, experience, age, previous earnings and language competence.

Tier 2: skilled workers. This category enables NHS organisations to recruit individuals from outside the EEA to fill vacancies that cannot be filled by a British or EEA worker.

Apparently, having a black painted car reduces fuel economy by 2%.Mainly related to the airco :D So it might mean some components might run a bit hotter in the car?

A 2011 study by the Berkeley Lab Environmental Energy Technologies Division discovered that white, silver, and other light paint colors do improve a car's efficiency. The study, which pitted a silver Honda Civic against a black one, found that light colored cars reflect about 60 percent of sunlight compared to dark colored cars. This translates to a 2 percent decrease in fuel economy (due to increased air conditioner use), a 1.9 percent increase in carbon dioxide emissions, and a 1 percent increase in other harmful emissions for a black car [source: Owano].
I'm not sure the black color can affect to F1 car so much because it doesn't have an air conditioner and speed in F1 is high enough to cool black surfaces by the oncoming airflow

So it is not about your skin color but because of nationality? That makes a whole lot of a difference. Basically when/if you get the UK passport the problem would be solved? That is not racism, that is the labour law in the EU and UK which was made to make it harder for large corporations to continue their drive to lower wages by getting people from other countries and dropping them when they became nationals (and thus started demanding better wages) leaving the rest of society to clean up their mess (as usual). Now, it does have side effects of which yours is one, but it is NOT racism.

I was about to comment on the "(due to air conditioner use)" which is not at all a factor in an F1 car. Also Renault and Lotus HAAS and other teams have used dark colors in the past and nobody worried about it affecting their performance then.

I wonder if these worries have more to do with Mercedes supporting Black Lives Matter more then a 1.9% increase in carbon dioxide...

All the greats said “keep politics out of F1”

Now we have this “wonderful” era where we are full of “diversity” supporting “peaceful protesters” that coincidentally all have certain political bias towards one side.

This political game will not end well.

Companies will play along the trend, this is normal and always happens, what really angers me is racing drivers playing the victim card and others promoting it in other ways.

Stick to driving and shut the hell up

What’s so surprising? They’re racing drivers not political figures. Example: Lewis hamilton going straight against Donald Trump in one of his instagram stories. Basically rooting for Biden. Are people here that blind?

This is not like the case of removing sponsors for one race or putting a black painted nose to pay respects for real victims.

This is political, and this has no place in F1
Does it make you feel uncomfortable? I think you are right to some extent if we are taking about run of the mill politics, world leaders, religions and regimes. But what Lewis is advocating is not those selfish divisive things but basic things like human rights, save the environment, diversity.

It's not prudent to mix the discussion of labour protectionism, nationalism and racism all together.

As this is an identity based world now, you are obliged to acknowledge my lived experience as a person also in the UK doing the visa dance as a citizen from a non EEA country.

You and I might meet in the waiting room of a job one day. I chose to be in the UK, I live with the consequences.

Whatever that causes us to meet in that room, you havent established that it's racism.

Hamilton has a right to voice his opinion he does not do this in an F1 setting he does this typically on his instagram during any given GP he will not bring up politics or anything of that nature unless its being done by the rest of the paddock to support something non-divisive.

However this time it is F1 and Mercedes who are choosing to support a cause that Hamilton is also supporting. Many of the drivers have also joined him. A team changing its* Colors is a big statement by sporting standards. Usually sport teams support with less or no involvement Mercedes is making a huge commitment compared to other sports teams. Fifa has long supported with a hashtag other sports will mention or do something small when they support a movement but Merc has really jumped in. Black Lives Matters is only asking for Police to stop killing black people when being arrested. Fighting for a basic human right is a perfectly good thing to stand with. Why should *it* bother anyone. They arent asking for anything more then to be treated like human beings. Which they shouldnt have to ask for if they must ask and it bothers anyone then those people are a part of the problem.

A little bit of Asian history... But A LOT of people don't know the intricacies of black History then come online and make ignorant comments! People just do your research OK it's not hard.

Yeah, but that is to be expected right? When I am in South America I also expect most doctors to be Latin. Just because of historic reasons. Dont forget that large migration and easy travel over long distances is something that is only happening since the 1970's (and also involves a lot of negative side effects, thus these laws). So it is logical that as of 2020 the majority in a country still matches the historic ethnicity/nationality.

Doesn't help you one bit, but is simply something that takes time.

Now most important thing for you is to get a EU / UK passport asap so the get rid of your problem. Because the labor law is not gonna be changed as the unintended side effects are just to great (and you can thank the same multinationals that are now sending all those BLM posts for those laws, because they needed to be made after they made labour protection and fair wages a travesty with their behavior).

This PC correctness is driving me crazy...

Simple... Best Man / Woman for the Job...

Stop Blaming Whites for Everything...
The best man/woman for the job is the outcome we all want. Other than a few fringe loony types, no one wants "positive discrimination" - there is nothing positive about discrimination, after all.

Sadly there are still lots of people who believe that women/blacks/gays/[some other group] are worth less than a white straight man. Quite often those people are the ones that get to offer the jobs to people. So long as there is that prejudice, we'll end up with some people being treated as being less worthy than others solely on the basis of how much melanin they have in their skin / their XX or XY chromosomes / other issue. Is it really fair to treat someone just because they have more melanin than you? What about a white person? Do you treat them less well if they have a good sun tan? Or what about people with red hair, or blue eyes - those are both mutations, after all.

The whole feel at the moment is one that might have been felt back when women were campaigning for the vote. I'd bet a few quid that some of those who are decrying the current situation would also have been there saying that the noise about women's votes was all just that, noise, with no substance.

As for "blaming whites for everything", well when white people set up up the situations that have led to the poor treatment of non-whites, it kind of is their fault. Many of the problems faced around the world today stem from actions taken by white people, notably the UK, the USA, and the former European imperial powers 100 years or more ago. Heck, many of them are the result of more recent political policies/decisions. The British Empire caused many issues, because when the Empire was created, peoples were lumped together in countries determined by the British and their allies/enemies at various points. Hence tribal tensions within African countries even today.

So, yes, we "whites" do have the smell of culpability on our hands, even though we did not, individually, do anything wrong (because we weren't even born in most cases).
You are a wise man, Just a fan!

You hit the nail on the head!

That's right. I lament the changing of "Europe" sometimes looking from the outside.. but it is what it is. They brought it on themselves by going out there and oppressing all these people. The most they can do is help develop those countries to reduce the immigration pressures.
