Honda Power Unit Hardware & Software

All that has to do with the power train, gearbox, clutch, fuels and lubricants, etc. Generally the mechanical side of Formula One.

AFAIK It would cost 1 token to move the turbo as that's how much new exhaust manifolds cost, otherwise it's 2 tokens to move the position of the mgu-h and it's transmission.

That could be the rumored major upgrade by round 11 the press trolls been talking about.

And with that move I would guess a new MGU-H and Turbine too and improvements to ERS cooling.
Why would they move it to the rear? Wouldn't it be better to move it to the front (unless current layout doesn't allow it)? They have done half of it already.
correct... (current layout doesn't allow it)

Looks like the PU gained a lot in quali trim, but Honda still seems to need to learn a lot on how to handle the PU during race.

Looks like the "old boys club" engine is also a dud.
Honda board will withdraw from F1 at the end of the season. ATM their F1 project is a liability to the brand and a massive financial burden.

I don't let my lack of success reflect on what I think of some F1 team.

You can see the new waste gate layouts and how the pillar goes through the exhaust. Different solution from HAAS that has split the exhaust in two tubes to bypass the pillar, whilst McLaren simply has a wedge in the single tube.

Yes, maybe you have difficulty understanding me.
Honda withdrew from F1 in the 90's during the Williams "era". The lack of success did not fit their business model.
BAR Honda Had no success in F1, they withdrew on very short notice.
I can see that happening again.
