I don't expect a lot from Dovi in these few races remaining in this season tbh. He will be on a 2 years old bike and he will have his first taste of inline 4 engine since 2012. He was also out of it for almost a year now.

Same with Franky. I think he'll perform well on Yamaha, but he had a long pause due to injury and is coming back on 2 years newer bike than the one he rode last.

Today (and tomorrow I think) MotoGP teams are allowed to test at Misano circuit. Two of the most notable changes tested on the bikes are:
1. Smaller wings on Aprilia. Apparently their large wings cause their riders problems mid corner

2. Brand new Honda RC213V that is being prepared for 2022. Fairings are completely different with different rear end and air intakes as well.

I really think he wouldn't have it that easy in CoTA if someone else was behind him. Not that I think that Quartararo didn't have pace, rather that Quartararo is thinking about his championship. The only rider that was in front of him was Marc and he didn't need to chase him down and risk crashing out on the track that was in such a bad shape.

If none was behind him, was because none had the pace to be behind him. He knew Fabio was not going to risk a crash, so he probably didn´t push too hard either

Interesting Moto2 races remaining after Gardner crash, only 9 points lead now and both he and Fernandez are in a strong form

And crazy crash in Moto3, I think Acosta broke the world record of longest jump with a GP bike   Luckily none got hurt, not even Acosta after hitting the barriers :D

That's right. No one probably had the pace of Marc and maybe he was also not pushing harder.
Moto3 crash was really scary, but thankfully no one was hurt.

I think Fabio would push Marc like he pushed Bagnaia in Misano if they were fighting for the championship. But Fabio knew that Marc is nowhere near him in championship and that Bagnaia is behind him which means that advantage is getting bigger. Looking at the state in which circuit was there was really nothing to gain with hunting down Marc, while there was a huge advantage to loose.

That Moto3 crash was funny and ugly at the same time. Funny how they flew but ugly how it started and how it looked after the fact. And the fact that Acosta wanted to restart the race for the 3rd time is shocking a bit.

I think all you said are more or less true about Fabio vs MM. But I think MM always competitive here with honda bike. Look that Nakagami, he was also there. Plus, yamaha struggling with the tyres at some races. Very bumpy track which bring additional crash risk. So probably if Fabio would want to fight for win he had to push hard to keep up with MM and that still can not be enough to win. So it is safer to stay at 2nd.

EDIT: Few days ago it was announced that Energica won't be extending their contract to be sole supplier of MotoE bikes after 2022. Today it was confirmed that Ducati will be the sole supplier of MotoE bikes for period of 2023-2026

Well that qualifying made it for a interesting first title decider. Quartararo's lap that would see him through from Q1 to Q2 was deleted because of yellow flags (MotoGP has a rule that if while in your lap you enter a yellow flag zone it will be automatically canceled) so he'll start on row 5. Ducati has locked the front row with Bagnaia on pole, Miller in 2nd and Luca Marini in 3rd.

Today weather should be completely dry so it would be interesting to watch how far forward Fabio can get.

Also some other rule changes were revealed:
Sporting regulations:
- For 2022 Moto3 and Moto2 warm-up sessions on Sunday morning have been reduced to just 10 minutes.
- For 2023 Moto3 and Moto2 minimum age has been raised from 16 to 18; there is now a maximum of 30 riders + 2 wildcards on the grid

There are also some changes to technical regulations, all of which can be found in this article:

EDIT: Special livery for Luca Marini

It didn't finished with excitement but finished surprisingly different.
Congratulation Diablo.
