My guess is that if Marquez is beaten next year by Lorenzo (or closely matched) he will not stay at Honda. KTM are willing to offer a lot.
If Lorenzo can beat MM at Honda, then if MM goes another team this will allow Lorenzo to get more WDC. Honda and Yamaha are always have potential. I can't say same for others including Ducati.

I like your sense of humor. :)
So what do you find funny, Lorenzo beating Marquez or Marquez going to KTM?

Lorenzo beating him on a Honda. I just dont see how the Honda will suit Jorge. Lorenzo's styles is smooth and steady. The Honda needs to be ridden like a will Bull. Mrquez can do it, Cal tries and falls a lot, Dani doesn't have the bone strength to do so.

He adapted on the Ducati, I can not find any reason why he could not adapt to the Honda. Ok maybe it might be difficult for the first year but still possible for the second year.

Honda is not their best shape in resent years. When they are, Pedrosa was good with the bike with his soft riding style and MM could achieve to win first 10 races of his second season.
Now ducati is in good shape, not like how it was during Rossi years. If Honda bike's were like this year at next season,
Lorenzo may struggle with it at his first year but we don't/can't know. Maybe Honda will be good like how the bike was at MM's first 2 years. Maybe Honda will be same with this year but Lorenzo will find it very well for himself. We just will see it in time. It is exciting to see both with same bike .
My opinion is that he will struggle a bit but not as much as he did with ducati

British GP, & wet Q - showed that J.L. has really got the Ducati working well, to take pole from Dovi..
then Zarco in 3rd (while both factory Yamahas are outside the top ten!), from C.C. & M.M.*.

* Pedrosa on the other factory Honda was 'swamped' & is down in the mid teens..

The race was cancelled because of rain. I feel gutted for the fans at the track

He is older and mature now so he just ignores Marquez, a younger Rossi would have definitely punched Marquez already.

Rossi AFAIR, has never actually punched a rival - he uses 'mind-games' (& yeah, his boot, while on the bike)..

& Rossi is still 2nd in the Championship standings, even with the Yamaha being unable to win a race..

But I doubt that M.M. will be fazed by Rossi's petulance.. it seems he lets nothing much.. unduly bother him..
