Alonso is a driver with the power of super computer saddled in his brains where he is constantly assessing the conditions, driving just at the limit but not over. for a driver whose driving style in the dry is super aggressive with fast steering action but in the wet he transforms in to a silky smooth driving style. His adaptability and race management is on another planet.

This is as bad as all the full course yellow lottery at LeMans with the countless cautions in Indycar combined :cry:

So far, he's won 100% of races he's competed in this year :mrgreen:

The final hour before the second red flag saw Nasr and Alonso fight a bit for the lead, with the below more seeing Nasr take the lead, only to re-pass at Turn 1 as Nasr defended a bit too optimistically and veered off the track.


Congrats to Alonso and his team mates. Another to add to the list to underline the kind of driver he is.
