Ever wanted to see a time-to-speed acceleration graph for MotoGP machines,
& how they compare with a current regular-production roadgoing superbike?

Maverick Vinales and Fabio Quartararo will be Yamaha factory team riders in 2021. and 2022.
Vinales' contract extension until the end of 2022.

Quartararo signed for 2021. and 2022.

And this is what they had to say about Rossi's future on official YamahaMotoGP instagram
@valeyellow46 will take until mid-2020 to decide whether he will remain an active rider in MotoGP in 2021. If he does continue, Yamaha offers to provide a Factory-spec bike and full engineering support 🤜🤛

Great future for Yamaha! They've got the 2 best riders on the grid able to challenge Marquez...and they are really young!

Ducati doomed again? Neither Dovi nor Petrux can be their future! Maybe if Miller gets better and then if Zarco proves to be a match for the Ducati bike! Hopefully it ends up good for Zarco...! [-o<

This recent study considers the application of current DFI/Jet ignition tech to MotoGP,
& includes the inherent advantages to racing of unbanning 2T engines, likewise:

Maverick sucks, he wont challenge MM. Fabio is the guy who can take it to him. Petrux seems to have fell off a cliff, but Dovi is a top rider, proved it for years now. Consistent and fast, just not wild or aggressive. Dovi is better than Maverick at the moment in my opinion.

Other riders on the up and have great potential are Rins, Mir, Oliveira and Morbidelli.

Zarco is the real deal, just needs to settle back in and get back to his best.

At least they tried something different and it actually works.

Monster Yamaha is the same as last year livery wise, Petronas Yamaha SRT is also the same, though they did RB Racing from few years back and went from spray-on effect for accent color to sharp edges. Honda is also the same as before.

I wonder how long Alex Marquez will last. He's absolutely crap, Honda should have gone for someone more promising like Melandri or Lorenzo

Obviously he's there to keep Marc happy, but jeez Alex sucks
