Honda does not looks that good but suzuki and yamaha look very good. Qatar circuit is not a RCV kind of track but from whole tests it looks like yamaha and suzuki battle what we will watch. If MM get well than he can participate the party.

Looking forward to seeing some racing this weekend. Anyone else watch the Moto2 and Moto3 regularly ?

^ Qatar round cancelled due to CV/Covid 19 issues.

& of technical interest, Ducati have gained significant top-end speed,
as shown in the recent tests, where Miller was clocked at 355 km/h!
"Well, we knocked the bastard off!"

Ed Hilary on being 1st to top Mt Everest,
(& 1st to do a surface traverse across Antarctica,
in good Kiwi style - riding a Massey Ferguson farm
tractor - with a few extemporised mod's to hack the task).

Not, Qatar round still going ahead. Only the GP class cancelled.

Yeah, sure seems Lewis Hamilton enjoyed the challenge of the MotoGP machine:

"...you have to master so many things at once... its a rocket.
When you accelerate, its incredible... I'll be flying high all next week after this!"
A Motogp bike is one of the few things on earth that enjoys a power to weight ratio superior to one of these current F1 cars, even with 1,000 bhp.

F1 has lost a lot of the "exotic thrill" factor it had even as recently as the 2000s. Motogp has lost none of it! It's much more exciting than F1 to me now...and I say that as a life long F1 junky who never really got into bikes that much.

"Only" Moto GP cancelled!

& now also, for the 2nd round, too...

For those here living in America: I just found out NBC has secured a multi-year deal to televise all the MotoGP races. Most will be on NBC Sports Network, but 4 will also be on the NBC mothership.

This is great news! NBC Sports has the MOTO2 race from Qatar on right now.

bad news! There won't be any races to broadcast!

let's hope not! Qatar races were top class.

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

But sadly, not literally, since the actual - 'Top Class' - being MotoGP, was absent...

COTA race also cancelled! Nice...no MotoGP races for another 1.5 month! MotoGP not racing in Qatar was so silly...they should have found a way to race there since Moto2 and 3 went ahead as planned! :x

Maybe hosting some European events now at the start of the season is a good idea i guess...why not bring the Valencia race forward to end of March - start of April?? Travelling inside the EU zone should be a bit easier for the teams from Italy at least!

Bringing Valencia and Aragon forward to the start of the season will also free up some space at the end of the season where 5 races in 6 weeks is way too much!

Moto2 and Moto3 riders and crews were there because they were testing at Qatar before traveling restrictions were implemented. So they just stayed there and waited for race weekend and went on with it. MotogGP teams weren't there since their test was a week or so earlier and they all went to their bases after which Qatar introduced quarantine for everyone coming from high risk places. Thailand did the same thing.

I wish that everyone got a lesson from these days that we can not do whatever we want. Whatever, hope we can return normal life soon and of course with a motorsport shedule.
What I want to say is; Honda and Marquez can get more benefit from this situation. As you know MM93 is not well because of surcery and Honda bike had problems during testing. They both have time to get better now.
This will be very interesting season that every team saw where they are against rivals and where they are weak. Then prety much time to develop. Of course if factory is in italy
or spain it is a bit hard.
