On which side is downforce more effective?

Do any teams do this today? Is adding a bit more downforce on 1 side of the car even allowed?

It seems like it would work well at the spanish gp as the tracks highest speed corners are mostly right handers. So adding some more downforce to the right side of the car should help cornering force without unsettling the car in left turns too much as all the left turns are taken at a slower speed

In rFactor 1-2, i ran asymmetrical caster to handle the turn in differences on some tracks. The laptime in Turkey and Brazil to handle the long left handers was real.
