Hi Toomba, re the rating system, it occurs to me that it would be fairer to all if everyone started on 1 rather than 0, that way if you are being a twat you'll get your just deserts and if you are contributing you will get recognition for it - I've really wanted to hit the plus button on a few posts lately to thank ppl for their content but cant because of my 0 rating. :(

PS. emails are still busted for me.

I think the system is still buggy on the whole. It still tells me I can't vote.

There was a bug that prevented people with rep=1 to vote.
All should be ok now. Sorry for the trouble!

Maybe a competition? I would submit a version for consideration.

Does anyone else have a problem with the w being washed out in the middle?

Why can I only vote once every 24 hours, where's the logic in this?

The system should just be free and open, why is it so restrictive?

Can you explain that?

It opens up as your reputation increases, point by point, with an ultimate maximum of 20 votes/day for any user.
Downvoting also gets enabled when you reach a high enough reputation.

Tomba. I don't know how to explain it better...the lines that form the letter W, in the middle where the lines form an inverted V is washed out looking. It is on both upper and lower case but worse on the lower case. It isn't a big thing, it just looks odd.

Oh you mean as an issue with the font... it does look reasonable to me and I didn't notice before. I do agree however that a closer look reveals your idea. Not much I can do about that though.
