If Ferrari aren't prepared to back Charles Leclerc, then they've simply lost that killer instinct required of a team in order to win titles.

Vasseur cultivated a no nonsense culture at Alfa Romeo fwiw. Orders came swiftly and without hesitation when they benefitted the team (Bottas and Zhou were swapped around to the benefit of the team. Giovinazzi was moved aside to the benefit of the team. Silverstone would never have happened the way it did with Vasseur in charge. It bodes well for Ferrari to have him here.

Wonder if Ferrari win in 2023, how many will give Binotto credit? Surely it would have been his leadership that will have got them there.
He gets full credit for making a good car. Some discredit for TD and floor height. Full credit for taking the risk on the engine. Partial discredit for Monaco. Full discredit for Silverstone and Hungary.

All in all I didn't want him to go but race day operations just got ridiculous.

I do wonder if he was asked to step aside into a support role because he is respected as a technician, but then just refused that offer. Hard to step backwards in a career.
For Sure!!

Really wished they would have done away with the black accents.

That's something that was always bound to happen...

Why dont F1 and the FIA see what's plain to see?
Bring back the naturally aspirated engine, and a lightweight car.
I still think these 1000 hp V10s were the fastest. The new cars just have better suspension design, and more detailed aerowork. But the raw speed in the V10s is just monstrous compared to these refined ballerina cars today.
V10 with hydrogen combustion and KERS, modern suspension, and aero and F-1 viewership will double.
For Sure!!

This isn't entirely the FIA's fault though. The manufacturers wanted the hybrids. Some of them said they would not continue if we didn't get hybrids (Mercedes, Renault).

On another topic, I still haven't see any announcement about the Technical Director.
I guess that either we will find out during the presentation, or they will continue as they are for now.
