CFD & Design for Newcomer

Post

Hey everyone

I have a few aerodynamic ideas I'd like to test. I can't try these ideas in reality, but would like to see if they have any merit.

What do you guy recommend as a good place to start with regards to CFD and design? Books, software etc...

Is there an Idiots Guide type thing? I am not well versed in the software being used. I know once I am in I can get my hands dirty, but that initial stage is a little confusing.
