any particular reason for the gearbox change by the way?
I do not remember the actual reason. I think the one we have is a bit fat. And after having seen the MERC and RB floor during the Monaco weekend, I think the new one is a bit more realistic. I just have to give you also the updated volume around it. I hope to get to that tomorrow.

Red is new obviously. It's bigger in all the wrong places (as far as my car/floor is concerned :D )

By the way: the geometry (V3, May 27th) is the definitive one for Race02?

Nope, I have just uploaded V04 which contains the small fix on the body volume in the gearbox area.

And while I know you must all be dying, waiting for the results. I am finally making progress.
I hope this here was worth the wait:

Other than R01 being Monaco, not Silverstone, this is great 😃

The saftey cell appears to be missing from Koldskaals render roo

I noticed this shorty after posting. The mistake is more than annoying, because thanks to a small error in the script that puts the race text and team names on the images, combined with a dumb copy-paste error , I damaged all originals. I had to rerun all rendering but went home as it takes a while. I might update today or tomorrow morning. You can imagine that the renders were a lot of work, so seeing such a mistake is devastating #-o .

Race results are almost done. I will now see how I can run the races on AWS. My workstation is a bit to small for all teams and the cases are a bit too small for HPC. But my limited research tells me, I can build a convenient solution to AWS. And this will then finally lead to a connection between MFlow and for example AWS.

OK, got the images updated:

I took the time to make some minor fixes.
No idea why MaxTaylor is so pink and Panthera so red. I tried but this somehow did not want to get fixed.

I am close to submitting all results to Max, who then performs the lap time simulations.
I can only apologize that it is taking so long. Keep in mind, every season, I and we work on some new features. This time they took a bit longer to get ready. Also for the first race, I have to dig through all my scripts, adjust them to the new rules and somehow remember how they work.
Next race should be smoother.

Thanks for the renderings, they are super detailed. I think I will change the color scheme of my car, the white diffuser is not good from a strategic point of view 😀

What about the legality check?

Teams with a separate part for the floor have a nice carbon fiber material applied. You can have the same. But you are right, yours is much easier to see.

Should get out tomorrow. There are no real surprises. PurePower once more got caught and I think more more team. But only on small issues.

Ok, update on scrutineering:
I realized that least season, I posted the results together with the race results. I think I will keep it this way. But as you have been waiting so long, here they are in our wonderful forum:

Rule violations:
  • PurePowerRacing: 10.6
  • KLC Racing: 10.5, 12.2
  • Panthera: 12.2
  • TulipF1: 10.5, 9.5 (Halo not connected to body)
All of these violations were minor and will not receive any penalty. Just keep in mind, doing this again will result in a penalty, even if it looks like just another minor oversight!
