No he wasn't. He was quarter of a second down on Verstappen before T16, and despite all the mistakes, still lost only a bit more than half a tenth after exiting final corner onto pit straight. That shows how stupidly understeery the RB21 is in the slow corners.

Watching Max through T3 and T6 - the slow turns - it's like a wet Sao Paolo line he is taking through there - the car is nowhere near the apex as he has to take a wide line on entry to these corners because it refuses to rotate. I'd rather be Ferrari/McLaren in the corners. It's going to rain tomorrow and it will be cold, so we're going to have a green track. Red Bull has to hope the car can tough out any graining and keep its tyres in a good operating window. Can't see it being easy with the Monza wing.
