It's weird to see Honda and Toyota getting known for unreliability. That's all I have to say ATM.
As technology developed in time by seeing what is wrong and what can be better, their reliability will develop as long as they are in these sports. They are new in their categories with this technology.

I would agree with you on this. Honda and specially Toyota's reliability are unmatched when it comes to other categories like Passenger cars and SUVS. Remember the top gear episode where the team got the hell out of a Hilux 4x4 and it still worked. So, there is no question on their reliability except for this sport. Things do take time and i am sure they will learn pretty quick on how to overcome their difficulties on the track.

This looks like LMP1 has hit a dead end ... there will be massive changes or no Lmp1 next year. Anyway #2 may win unless some more problems occur :/
Porsche has committed to 2018 and Toyota committed through to 2019.
Did you research these facts before writing your post (genuinely curious).
And Porsche is withdrawing at the end of 2017...

Super disappointing, for sure. I thought I could trust Porsche's word :(

Sadly internal politics within VAG killed it, Although LMP1-L could get very good this year.
