Assuming Paddy and Claire are dumb is just plain arrogancy.

People need to realize that F1 (and most corporate environments) is not a fairy tale. All of us wanted Robert to return but you can not base a decision like this only on sentiment.

assuming Paddy and Claire are correct is equally arrogant, so your argument is no different to the pro Kubica camp.

exactly.

there's plenty reason enough in the Kubica thread.

Agreed, he/she has been essential to keeping us Williams fanatics up to date. Especially since we have fallen from the top 4 in the WCC!

Not to mention that he/she seems like a nice person!

+100

At first I figured LBT was just laying low while there was nothing to report.

I guess it's a little more than that now.

Unfortunately, we all feel quite close here in forum land, but the reality is we don't know what someone may be going through in "the real world".

So if you're out there, kind of sitting on the sidelines but at still tuning in here now and then, just know we're all with you LBT.

LBT has been semi-active on Twitter at least. He retweeted a tweet as early as January 10. I think he's just either not too interested in F1 right now or, as Webber2011 said, just laying low while there's nothing going on. At least I hope that's all that's happening.

Brief article on Paddy Lowe's revamp at Williams-

There's nothing radical to be done, it's not my style to go in and create revolution because I've not found that necessary or seen it effective. What we've got is actually a good team, it's about making it better and that's about evolving in the right directions, building what needs to be strengthened with the focus and the priority on the things that matter.

Personally, i like Paddy's style more than Symonds who used to make more boisterous statements about the next car.

Meanwhile, new sponsor.
