2018 F1 car comparison

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter does not belong here.

The W08 heave element looks hydraulic. Any ideas? For the VJM11, the spiral on the heave plunger shaft indicates an inerter? Does that metallic collar on the left side, left of the heave spring, rotate? On the RB14: the red diagonal unit I take as the anti roll element; it is hydraulic?
