yes i also think that clause was just there to make sure pirelli gets the deal. :(

Liberty wanted to extend the current deal to 2020, Pirelli refused. New tyres weren't going to come a year earlier than the bodywork changes for cost reasons.

Due no whole sale changes, the 2018 tyre thread will be used for the 2019 season as well. Changed topic title accordingly. There are changes however comparedto 2018 however.
