yes i also think that clause was just there to make sure pirelli gets the deal. :(

Liberty wanted to extend the current deal to 2020, Pirelli refused. New tyres weren't going to come a year earlier than the bodywork changes for cost reasons.

No, it was revealed months ago when the 2020-2023 tender first went out
