The first two sectors are not bad, but nevertheless, Q3 is unlikely.

I still think there’s a fair chance, 2 tenths from 7th, a good clean lap can take them through.
Let's hope for the best, but if it rains, it will be a lottery.

ES change for Sainz was a precaution - it wasn't always charging quite correctly - may still be able to use it later on in the season.

I don’t think we will ever have that data, but the team has messaged that they understand why their performance wasn’t as expected in Spain....

Zac B was on Sky saying he was happy sharing reasons for Indy failure so I am surprised that they are not sharing the F1 team data.

They are out of Indy already, so nothing to lose or disclose to rivals for a potential competitive advantage... Not the same situation as with F1.

I’m assuming below details will apply to McLaren as well? If that’s the case, Canada sounds like it could be fun....

Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

There should be a list how many times Renault stated that they found their fundamental flaw and all things would be better.

True, but fingers crossed

I think what we've learned so far from Monaco has more to do with Merc than anything else.

What they're doing in the slow sections is CRAZY. They are doing something with the suspension. None of the aero changes could help them to that point in Monaco. Hamilton did a 1:11.232 in Q3 last year. Both Merc's have beaten that already in FP2.

Yeah, they're definitely doing something different compared to the rest of the field. The Ferrari was 1s slower in S3 (Spain).

Not looking good so far for qualifying, which is the most important thing here. Note sure if the laps got hampered by traffic, but the laps that the guys put in weren't particularly quick. If they don't improve further for quali we risk getting knocked out in q1

Car is still struggling to get/keep heat in the front tyres, that's why it's better in the race than qualifying.

I think that we'll be knocked in Q1 we dont have the pace this week end or maybe they had more fuel we'll see

Yeah, without accidents they won't score although that doesn't come as a surprise considering their pace in S3 in Spain.
