Well, if McLaren, Renault (and RP, and/or AT?) all close the gap to the top three, they are pulling away from those behind, but in doing so make those the back-enders while being theyon are a closer midfield themselves - that's not something any one team can prevent on their own, right?

What happened to the goal of pulling away from the midfield and closing the gap to top three teams?

I don't believe it was in Renault's plans to have to fight tooth and nail with McLaren and others.

What happened? Pretty simple... They were outspend massively by the top 3, who in turn are developing faster than expected

In Ocon’s defence, Perez was responsible for 90% of their crashes - he’s imo the dirtiest driver on the grid.

The Verstappen crash was a very silly mistake though,

I doubt it, when seeing Ocon and Ricciardo in the team shirts with loads of white, I got excited for some cool new livery.
But seeing as last seasons team gear also had a load of white on it, the car was just black and yellow, so Im not so excited now and am expecting any real change.

The livery will change.

Won't it just be the filming day livery? I.e., the same as 2019 livery, but with gloss black replaced with matte black for the weight saving. Indeed, Renault were one of the first on the fashionable matte paint bandwagon, but then dropped it strangely.
