Engine Penalties and The Sprint

Post

So does anyone know what happens in regards to penalties for taking an extra PU if it's done at a circuit where we're trialling The Sprint?

Do the penalties get applied to the Grand Prix grid or The Sprint grid?

If the latter, you'd assume any team wanting to take a new PU would do so at Monza and use The Sprint to make up places prior to the Grand Prix.

Just a thought I had today.

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

As a guess, I'd assume it would be applied after the sprint race to their grid position for the main GP.

The sprint is the qualifying for Sunday's race so any grid penalties will be applied for Sunday.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.
