Um, it looks, kind of alright. In fact I quite like it from the side as the downward sloping nose is much better than the high ones we've been used to. Of course, you can't really see the nose from this view point so maybe have to reserve our judgement!

Sidepods looks to be quite undercut?

Wanted to say the same, almost like the F138 without the exhaust. They do seem to flatten out at the end too, to create some downforce...I'll take a look at reworking the picture to get some more detail from it. If someone else is faster than I am... =D>

Is the narrower front wing the biggest change?
“The front wing change is significant; it's a completely different concept for 2014. Visually it's one of the biggest changes. That was a big task, rebuilding all those aerodynamic structures from the front to the back to complement the smaller rear wing. The loss of the lower rear wing, or beam wing, leads to a significant loss of performance. That lower wing helped connect the diffuser to the top wing and gave those two areas a lot of support. Without it, it's become very difficult to extract performance and it's going to be quite a tricky area to keep stable. So there was quite a dramatic loss in headline downforce numbers, while there was also a drop in drag, which has fallen quite dramatically as well.”
Earlier I said that loosing the beam wing would not only effect the diffuser but also the rear wing. People didnt believe that but i guess Andrew Green confirms this.

Don't want to be silly, but i think he just shows is better angle. The height in front of the cockpit is clearly the 625mm allowed, extended so much to the front that it must feature one modesty panel. Perhaps it's design isn't far from what Caterham had already show, at least judging for the small grey shadow bellow the blue letters. Like the new livery, the old chromatic scheme was getting "tired".

Are you sure about central pylon/pylons? And if they use the endplates directly fixed to the floor?

Special request: can someone please tell where to find F3000 lap times? Thanks.

I said it somewhere before, but I think that this situation could be used to flex the entire diffusor downward, which would also lower the AOA of the rear wing. And, since it will be more difficult to seal the diffusor, dropping it should improve its performance. They would have to insure it doesn't stall though, otherwise the cars would loose a large amount of the downforce from one second to the next - very dangerous! It shouldn't be a problem to circumvent the rules...

What's going on with the wheel nuts?
Are they plastic, painted mat grey, or did someone get the texture wrong in a CG render?

looking at the entire image, the latter is most likely.

I think the nose might be like this:

I'm not sure if you guys already know it but the German magazine "auto motor sport" asked Charlie Whiting if those three noses would be legal and he said yes.
Whiting: "I don't know if they would pass the crash test but I would say yes they match the rules."

apparently not. The "Caterham" has a single central pylon. As far as I know thats not legal.
