Because why not, german on british show, can´t possibly be faked right, then british star comes on board it´s all of a sudden fake.

Or "unproven"..
I have a problem with all the times taken not just Hamilton's time.
It is not possible to undertake any competitive sport unless there is unbiased and official judication that is publicaly transparent, period.

If this is not the case, then the whole thing can only be entertainment not competition with results of no value.

Just because they are an entertainment show that sometimes twist facts for the purpose of entertainment when it comes to cars doesn´t mean F1 times are fake.

It definitely does not prove that they are not fake, that is obvious.

I enjoy Top Gear, it is good entertainment.
I do not accept it as qualified data or education on vehicle technology and usage.
I dont even believe that Clarkson expected people to accept it either, he seems to have simply gone with the flow so to speak.
The presenters give their opinions on the vehicles featured, it is a shame that most of the motoring public now seem to accept this as some sort of qualified source on all matters vehicular.
There is nothing wrong with the show, it just needs far more challenges from outside.
Unfortunately the car manufacturers now treat it as some sort of holly grail in their marketing plans.
'Stop Clarkson and buy one' so to speak.
Says it all about the motoring public I suppose, sad.
