Peugeot #4 is in the pits and has fallen back on P4. The leading Audi is now up to P2.

Minassian is going like hell in the Peugeot #2. Apparently no concern about reliability.

The Risi Ferrari are decimated and Jean Alisi is currently running the fastest Ferrari on track.

The last Risi #83 just blew his engine

Peugeot #2 is down with right engine bank fire. Probably a fuel issue as the car was just in the pits to refuel.

Audi is now leading with two cars.

The leading Pug and the 63 Corvette are out within 30 seconds of each other!

The Corvette was leading due to creative use of textile sand containers.

The Pug was leading on merit IMO. =D>

Yep, ACO does a thing called BOP which means you get restricted more and more for every victory you take. The Corvettes were never fast until qualifying and so they did not get restricted as much as for instance BMW. Clever but not so sporting.

And restricting winners is sporting? Penalizing achievement is sporting? Punishing success is sporting? Making someone spend more time and effort achieving what they already have is sporting? That's bullshit if you ask me, and being unsporting in not showing your hand is not unsporting. I wouldn't show my hand if it meant all my hard work is rewarded by making me work harder to be back where I started. Winners should never be punished. Losers are the ones who should be punished, and they should continue to be losers until they man up and win or leave. Life isn't fair, you should get zero breaks for not succeeding. Losing is it's own motivator and bringing others down to the lowest common denominator is the reason people are dumber and more selfish every generation.

Saying they didn't lead on merit is bullshit too. Complete bullshit. EVERYONE sandbags because if you don't, you get penalized for actually being good at what you do. That's the biggest problem you should be pointing out, not how someone wanted to make best use of their hard work. If the ACO thinks that's the best way to race, I'll not watch the series that they control. I don't like people having an even playing field based on who's winning. Losing is something everyone should have to suffer through.

What the hell kind of world do we live in where success and hard work is punished??

Does the ACO punish for going four wheels over the white lines? Because Marc Gene is on the hammer and went completely over the line in the Porsche corners it looked like. He's hauling ass!

I love the race but the rules are rubbish. I agree with that.
Davidson is flying in the Pug. Minassian also was superb tonight.

Davidson already had a warning but I think that now he is going a bit too far.
THe corvette is out I presume. It realy looks like the chassis is squeezed

That's a few number of infractions Davidson should have gotten and now he's taken another car out. He should be parked immediately. Let's see how biased the ACO is now.
