Mclarens campaign got derailled in hockenheim when Hamilton smashed the car equipped with all the sensors in free practise. They got no good feedback as a result and started to compromise.the whole development in season thing has not really worked out for many teams-Mclaren,Mercedes,Force india, Renault.Ferrari leaped back ...but with hindsight I have the impression it was more the engine whoes than anything else that held them back after the season opener.

Just like school; these fresh, bright eyed, bushy tailed mods (Giblet and Max) will soon run out of steam faster than we think. 8)

Im sorry Giblet,

But having read some of the comments earlier in the thread there is no excusing someone lording it over others the way the poster in question has.
Making grandiose claims of "aerodynamic instability" then berating those that dont agree really isnt what this site is about.
Numerous occasions posters asked for some sort of eloboration to the claims, but that just descended in the usual personal comments I have endured a few too many times.

If anything this thread serves as a model of what will happen in future. Leopards and spot changing etc

Using "compression" as a base argument for "aerodynamic instability" using the naked eye as what Myurr aptly describes as eyeball CFD, is a joke.
As it transpires McLaren are darn fast and catching Red Bull at a rate of knots, where does this leave our esteemed posters "technical" observations?

See, I think the poster has a thing in for any team remotely capable of challenging his drinks company backed team. And when things go awry it starts to get very personal, there is a name for such internet behaviour.
But, I digress. How could someone be taken seriously again after such a monumental cock up?

Mclaren arent off the pace, they probably never were and any such talk should really be consigned to the bin. Thread lock time methinks 8)

Sorry to be OT but since we're out here ^^^^ I thought I would just chirp in:
The way things are going lately, it will likely be the rainiest day at Monza since the Renaissance and the slowest race at Monza since the advent of F1 with Button winning by 4 minutes. :P
