Yeah they are making a road car of that awful looking Panoz.....Not sure why they drew up the car like they did.

The Robertson Racing GT was like that last season as well...

The Peugeot does look to have rotary damper, though it looks massive by comparison of what we used to see on F1 Ferrari...I like the one piece tail assembly with rearwing that can be removed without taking off the engine cover. Might really aid those rear wing changes for setup change or weather condition.

I don't know. In US we don't even have live coverage on TV. The race is to be broadcast live for US cable TV customer online on ESPN3.

Quali is over. Peugoet got pole by a second(over R15++) with their new car.

Old AMR Lola is the fastest petrol car(6th, over 3 sec off), followed by the HPD.

I had a feeling there was a lot of sandbagging going on in P1 from both diesel and petrol cars.

AFAIK, Sebring is in the US Eastern time zone, which went to daylight saving time on March 13th. This means Sebring is currently at GMT-4, or five hours behind you (once daylight saving time kicks in in Europe next week, you will be six hours ahead of Sebring).

If this is correct, the race will start at 15:00 Central European Time (GMT+1). Don't shoot me if I'm wrong...

~30 min to go, both Audi had issues with other cars and/or track(including one came together with a factory 908)during the race. Now the Oreca 908(old car) is leading, with HPD ARX-01e 2nd, and 908 factory car 3rd.....

The 908 had no real issue in the race to speak of....they are either sandbagging(since Audi isn't there anymore). Or really, ACO got the equalization right....

This was an incredible race, lot of things happened.

Incredible win for the old 908, beating the new 908 on tactics and speed. Also good running for the new Honda edging out on the 908, quite unexpected for me though.

Also I missed what happened with the second Audi, i knew Rockenfeller suffered a puncture twice, but what happened to the other?

The 3rd place 908 at the time bumped into it trying to pass it down turn 17. It hit a bump and basically launched into the R15....The Audi had rear suspension damage, went 6 laps down to fix it, the Peugeot had front suspension damage, went 18 laps down.

I expect the HPD to be competitive, but no idea if it'll be reliable consider how little running it had. It was very good on its tire and obvious gets good gas mileage....had good straight line speed too...If they can get the funding to go to Le Mans it should be interesting...

Also they werent even running their optimal package, the car didnt pass scruteneiring the first time. They took off the diveplanes and fitted the old gills, basicly lacking a bit of downforce. would have been much more competitive, anyway, with some more running it is certainly a challenger, the R18 doesnt look like a Le Mans car and the 908 was somewhat awkward, so the ARX-01e certainly would be competitive

Whoa...that Panoz is one dastardly looking car.
