with the exception of 1a and 4a, the noses you have posted fall foul according to this. thats all im trying to say, unless you want to show why they are excluded with some clever interpretation
5a seems to have a relavitely thick central 'pylon' that could be a single section. also has 2 lower pylons to the wing.

idfx - its not just down the center line unfortunately but anywhere to the widest part of the nose.

Up to 250mm from the centreline.

thanks for the clarification. but thats still 500mm in total so it makes any ingot shape viewed from the front difficult

Did I miss something? Is enclosing driveshaft into suspension arm now forbidden? All cars presented so far seem to have driveshafts open.

probabyl has something to do with the modified suspensions to allow usage of the suspension arms as a 'beam wing' replacement. there has to be some movement.

I know i'm pretty late to the party but I had a thought when I saw a pic of the beauty we all know and love below. Could this be a way around the nose/clean airflow issue, could someone simply raise the legality center section of the front wing to the maximum nose height and slope the fw ends down to their minimum height? Something similar to below but encompassing the fw neutral center section.

are there any pictures of steering wheels from new cars? I am quite intrigued with what they all came after seeing the one from Toro Rosso

This design is different from my project.
My project follows this concept.

If you move this longitudinal cut away from the car center line, you'll see two sections. That would make this nose design illegal!
The transversal cut 50mm behind the nose tip is an additional rule.
