If i was you i´d wait for the 6 instead. It´s not that of a big leap from 4 to 5s when you think about it.

Personally, I prefer the design of the 4 - I like the stainless steel over the aluminum. But the fingerprint scanner is a tempting feature.

What stainless steel? The frame? The frame of the 5/5S is the same material as the 4

I have one as my main phone and a Nexus 4 as a backup. It's ok to feel jealous because I would too.

You mean the color? Because it´s virtually an identical design as well as materials. It´s just a bit longer to house the "new" display which is the same old display just a different size.

The 6 is where a new innovative design comes and hopefully properly new technology.
I like the current design but they have milked that one for years now.

I just like the feel of it. I know the 5 is supposed to be much more precisely made, but the 4 still feels like it's higher quality, like a nice old Nikon or something. Maybe it's just the weight.

But I do think they hold up better. I gave my old 4 to my mom and it still looks new, but the softer aluminum on my 5 is nicked and scratched after a year, and one corner of the glass is chipped, even though I've got a pretty solid bumper for it. Sample of 1, so take that for what it's worth.

I'd swap back to my old 4 except its the version without Siri.

Yea the weight has a pretty big impact on quality feel i´ve noticed.
When you have both in your hands the 5 tends to feel a bit toy-like.

The 4 and my 920 has the feel of being carved out of a solid object, very nice build quality by Apple and Nokia.

I'm an E72 user as well.
It is a pretty nice phone, isn't it? I love the keyboard and great battery life. The downside is its dead OS. Symbian was not that bad...
As for now I still cannot see why Nokia chose Windows Phone over Android. Now that they are owned by Microsoft it is pretty normal, but I mean before that.

I currently use a Droid Mini. Great phone and size for my basic needs.

And this is my first smart phone, not too shabby.

Why are telephones so important?

Had an iPhone 4S before, but prices for mobile services are going through the roof up here in Canada...! I still carry it around for music, contacts, web & facebook when WiFi is available, etc. I can use the Internet at work anyway, no need for 3G.

I have and S4, but in the past year I've used/had short term:

HTC Incredible S
HTC Sensation
Nokia Lumia 800
Samsung Galaxy S3

My part time uni job was in a phone shop and we had quite a few unmodified demo phones lying around, which meant I could just use what I wanted within reason.

I needed a phone with dual-SIM - that's why I bought Samsung Core Duos. I was also considering LG G Pro Lite Dual - it has battery's longer lifetime and better camera. Finally I decided it's too big. You can compare those two phones on your own on http://comperio.co/en/smartphones/samsu ... i8262.html
