Fault falls on Aitken imo, i think he should at least be docked some positions, that was dangerous driving.

Anyways yet another miraculous start from Mick. P8 to P4, crucially passing Ilott.
Now it's a two month break until the next race..

He lost control before the crash, was already drifting to the outside of the corner in Ghiotto. Not shure if that is accountable for Aitken.

If he is the one losing control and not lifting i don't know to who else it could be inputed for.
That type of driving would get you banned for life in oval racing(which is somewhat similar to Sochi T3).

Aitken was very determined. Imho Ghiotto Was Like that last year but this year he has learned. Yes he got taken out in Mugello and here again on the outside, but it were his opponents that wanted to do the impossible. Imho aitken should/could get a penalty for this.

Aitken had a puncture. Like i said, saw smoke before the contact. Must have been the car bottoming, before he lost it.

What a time for Ilott to make his first proper mistake in a race this season! Mick was struggling and ilott was ready to pounce. Saturdays race is a must win for Ilott now.
Also Tsunoda is struggling at a very crucial stage.

Still 48 points left but if Ilott doesn't close the gap on Saturday it's over I think.

Yeah agreed. Pole position will be a mega boost if he can grab it. Pole and a win is 29 points on Saturday. So Mick would need 3rd to be level in the championship.
As for Tsunoda, I think he needs 5th in the standings to get a super licence. He has now dropped to 5th but has a 8pt lead over Lundgaard.

Reverse everything!
Yup! It is a freaking mess, and I hate it.

Look at it this way: whoever wins the F2 championship will have made a strong case that they are good enough for F1. It will be too difficult to win by simply starting on pole and driving off into the distance each weekend.

Ilott starting P9 and Schumacher only P18. I wouldn't miss this tomorrow.

Schumacher with a silly tangle with Nissany. The turn in to Schumacher's car after the initial contact looked intentional though.
