I'm getting this regularly when first going from the homepage to the forum, but usually if I close the tab, and try again, it works fine with no slowdown or anything.
PC/Chrome.
Much better than the extreme slowdown of before.
.
Here exactly the same. Just once at openeening. Better this then 20 sec waiting on loading and then again 503 error.

This is what I am seeing on occasion. It seems that it will append the "&sid=..." to the URL and that causes the issue. I have noticed that if I chop that off the URL it works. I have also noticed that on the page (such as a sub forum topic list) that it will have the URL with the &sid=... but I can refresh the page then the &sid= portion of the URL is gone and the link works.

Don't you guys get a 503 error? ("Service Temporarily Unavailable")
404 would should be appearing when nothing's under that URI.

Yes, when I use the direct link to active topics. If I go to /forum/ the general chat etc. I dont get a 503 error.

I also always use the direct link to active topics. I get a 503 error. ("Service Temporarily Unavailable")
Then I click on the same link and everything is fine. This happens only the first time I open my laptop in the morning.

Originally they were 404 errors, but now they're 503 errors.

I think it's just a result of countermeasures for the bot attacks. It's fine for me if I can browse the forum quickly instead.

It is literally a consequence of the anti-bot measures, yes.

So is this a permanent "feature" of the software? Going forward always have to trim the URL to avoid the 503 error?

Since around a week or two I constantly get: "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable" when opening the forum or sometimes during browsing the forum. Extremely annoying.

I find that once I get it, I stay in.
It's just annoying before that.

Different behaviour for me, since this thing started...
Forum main page opens fine, always, without any problems.
But every sub-forum or link I click after that always leads to a 503.
Only way to fix it is to go back to main page, refreshing the site, and then it all works without issues...
Quite annoying...

Lots of 503s for me too, so annoying.
I'm from the region of the world that was blocked for awhile(Brazil, South America) no idea if anything can be done.
