Ferrari front wing, closeup
The amount of detail is quite amazing. The leading edges of the airfoils are chamfered in varying steps; I wonder if this works similarly to a small leading edge cuff, reducing stall speed and producing a gentler stall onset? The end plate section flows in different arcs, but the curves end quite abruptly in a shape that has to produce a vortice of some kind. The airfoil on the top has a long narrow gap "cut" into it near the end plate, one of the adjustable areas of the wing?

Are you sure it's not simply unpainted carbon fiber giving funny reflections while it's actually just a normal curve?

That's the main flap, behind and below the top profile. This pic make them look like 1 piece.

No, I'm not sure

... perhaps we'll find out in time. Many teams, I think, have pretty wide profiles on their rear wing, though. Part of the explanation could be the stall-resistance of such forms. Those sure look like inverted leading edge cuffs to me. So why not apply something with a similar effect to the front wing? Admittedly I might be wide off the mark here. Maybe a comparison to Renault, who have struggled in fast corners, could prove interesting?

I like the angle but it's not a very good photo really as it's almost entirely out of focus except for the sponsor logo!

When I got involved as a wrench for a pro motocrosser, one lesson that was drilled into me was to watch the mistakes more than the successes. It's desirable to build the right vehicle, but it's a huge setback to build one that is a mistake. So teams carefully watch those who are screwing up, to learn what not to do.

Ferrari has also
done some extensive changes to the bodywork of F2007. The side pontoons have been sculpted to an even shorter shape. Apparently the radiators, with the prospect of slightly cooler temperatures perhaps, are also slimmer and the rear air extraction has been reworked accordingly. Couldn't find decent pics of these though, so I'm left with posting this:
All teams must have a lot of developments on their cars now, but that, for the time being has been a bit overshadowed by McLaren's wing. But I'm sure details will start to trickle in.

Fin on the backside of the airbox seems to extend further from the airbox and a different shape than before too.

The rear wings in most cars appear unchanged between the race in Bahrain and testing in Cataluyna. But the Ferrari rear wing is substantially larger, most definitely a higher drag and downforce setup.
There are lots of changes and refinements in the Ferrari, their pace of development is just as good as anyone.
