Not sure if this is answered elsewhere, but this thread is close enoguh, has the front track been changed? Teams would want to make longer arms to accommodate, unless the track was reduced with the tire width change.

While reading a back-issue of Red Bulletin Magazine. I came across an article on F1 tyres in the wet.
It has a few calculations which, to be honest, mean absolutely nothing to me. However they and what was written may be of interest.

In ITVs pre race coverage of the Hungary 06 GP they talked about Michelins then new raintyre wich was intentionally narrower than the previous model.
So I think a slightly narrower tire is best in very wet conditions, wich Alonso proved that race
