Rb is changing the engine of Verstapen, 40 laps for him, sad, hope its nothing serious
That isn't correct. They are changing the gearbox!
I think he didn't read after V letter. Because "V"ettel was the man made 40 laps.

Is it true that on day two Gasly's turbo went bang?. The good Doctor was praising Honda for Quick repairs.
How could it be? Turbo "bang"-s are rather too spectacular to be hidden.

I agree, last year they had already excellent results after winter testing as they have this year , bring on melbourne to see the truth ..

And where do they lack performance?
Combustion wise or charging wise.
Are they running out of electrical power during race sim?

Efficiency, they lack efficiency, which will come as they keep developing. The good news is that reliability seems to be decent enough that they don't have to use 5 power units.

As Honda keeps refining and developing individual components in the power unit, they'll slowly unlock more efficiency, and with it more power.

Honda has a distinct advantage over Mercedes Renault and Ferrari, they don't have to run an F1 team Red Bull does that for them, so they can focus on the engine side, with 4 cars worth of data, and essentially one partner, they can develop at a faster rate than they have before.

Better than that, 4 cars with the same power train, (PU and gearbox) and the same fuel and lubricant supplier, so all the data of this pre-season the only real variable was the driver. Honda never ever had a better opportunity to improve their PU than this year, I'm expecting a more steady improvement rate than last year, p

But there must be some difference. RB has 2 gearbox faliures while TR had none.

Yess this is true but the 2 gearbox failures were Due to gasly 2 crashs, from my understanding Toro rosso has no gearbox issu and also on pu side it look like it ran with no problems,

Redbull would def have been able to swop out a gearbox and get Max out on the last day in no time - the reason for their lack of running must be a bit more complex;

No, they have had only two gearbox packages for whole 8 days of testing. Both were cracked in the crashes.

Ok, if that was the case- and good knowledge if that was reported somewhere because i didnt read it, did they simply repair the box so max could do some laps?
The RB’s were down on the laps anyway before the crash? Maybe still some intergration issues.
That being said- Albon’s time if representative was mighty.. and if TR can do that then u have to expect the RB will go much quicker...
Though i still suspect there are some issues...

The packaging of Honda's Formula 1 engine was a "little bit too aggressive" in pre-season testing and the manufacturer is planning fixes in time for the Australian Grand Prix.

Red Bull team boss Christian Horner lauded the installation of Honda's engine as "a thing of beauty" at the start of pre-season testing at Barcelona, while Honda said it had not come at the cost of reliability.

Neither Honda teams suffered major concerns in Spain but its F1 technical director Toyoharu Tanabe has admitted he was made "nervous sometimes" as new partner Red Bull and Toro Rosso got to grips with the 2019 product.

Tanabe told Autosport he was "not confident enough" with the progress that had been made, despite the manufacturer's best pre-season performance since returning to the F1 grid in 2015.

"We don't have a serious problem with the current installation, but we found some issues because of the tight packaging," said Tanabe.

"The shape was a little bit too aggressive, so we need to make it a little bit different.

"It's not a big concern."

Honda applied some fixes at the track but will also amend the design at the factory to introduce a "permanent countermeasure" in time for the season-opening Australian GP on March 17.
