i'm still in the competition but i'm not taking part in this, i'm still working on my car and haven't had enough time to aim for completion for November. aiming for Jan/Feb with my test runs

Hopefully I will be able to resubmit my car after changing it to add outlets a new nose and better sidepods intime. Maybe tonight, if not tomorrow.

When will the avid viewers be able to view these cars on this thread??

can you let us know the conditions your testing in now for our own tests, m/s etc etc

How did everyone else create their liveries for their cars? The sketchup design doesn't allow for very good liveries.

I havent really done a livery, Ive just painted sections of the car in Sketchup then rendered in Kerkythea.
You could also then put the renders into Photoshop to add more of a design.

Yeah, I'd love to see some pictures of the cars that have been submitted for the test... Anyone keen to share?

The cars are very good quality, naturally some are better than others, but overall the quality of modelling is quite good, when the results are done (Simulations are underway as we speak) all teams will get a feedback sheet which tells legality issues + data from the tests

Ric, i see you got visuals on on car, have you had any data (downforce/drag) yet?

I did all with Blender, I used Sketchup only for file conversion.
