That will most likely be Monaco's wing. I might have to do some minor adjustment for balance thoug.
My D/L ratio is only around 5...

And paraview doesn't 'see' the file either

It looks like you have a corrupted file. Did you try to export it again?

I've tried around 5 or 6 times
The heat exchangers work fine btw
And i can open it in the windows 'view 3d' app

Have you tried to make a small change in the geometry or to slightly change the stl export settings?

I have changed the stl export settings to 'fine' and ASCII and set it to keep its position relative to the origin
That's it. The settings are the same for the hx and they work
Just tried loading it into paint 3D... Works a treat

I suggested the small changes in order to have a different stl mesh, maybe there is a critical detail somewhere.
I would try with less triangles (I don't remember the parameter you have to change, maybe you have to switch fron "fine" to "medium").

I've tried 'coarse' and it still doesn't work. And the quality is horrendous
It's funny because i exported an stl but a few weeks ago and all was fine

I've fixed it. I had certain things hidden which weren't part of the car body but which i used as guides etc. I'm not sure why it should have made a difference but it worked

Interesting hig nose for Pure Power. I am trying to image how do you modeled the transition between the nose and the floor.

Well i wanted to try something different for this year. Its pretty much like an F1 car around the floor. I will post some screens tomorrow from the evolution of the car and the duct that im calling p-duct.

Any one care to share the wheels you guys use for rendering?
I'm running what must be the last simulation now, to submit it tomorrow. Looking forward do do proper renderings.
I used the wheels from cfd_parts.step
I isolated one wheel and modified it in solidworks to make some nice spokes and then added materials. I did something simple so that i could easily replicate the spoke design on every wheel. Hope that helps. Looking forward to see your final renders!
