I have to admit those two goals by Italy late in the match were two very pretty goals.

Italy was a revelation, played inspired by the football muse. This, or I have been out of the italian championship for too long. If you are an italian playing on the Lega Calcio you have to be a super-player, as it is a magnet for players from other countries.
It was amazing to see how they kept on making exact passes and covering with energy big areas for two solid hours. I lost the account in the first half hour of the many tricks they did. Pirlo shined between them all: such an equal game could only be decided on a free shot or on an individual play of genious.
Germany proved that they have a team of athletes. If Italy shone, was because the germans were unsurmountable. The magic of this game is that Italy could
play better when Germany was developing the best
football.
Principessa is totally right.

. Crabbia too, it seems.

If its a setup then the players are really good actors too where they pretend having tears in their eyes and Beckham being the best in this case.
Well Germany is gone now, they were shocked! 2 sudden goals, boy oh boy.
I'm not talking about England or Germany. They lost because they were worse than their competitors. I'm talking about Brazil being eliminated by France.
But, anyway, I'm sorry. You must really know a lot more of soccer than me.

LMAO!
You have to admit though, the way France played against Brazil, and especially the way Italy played against Germany...
...The final really is goig to be a beautful game to watch. As long as the two don't start falling over blades of grass again! Italy and France my god, 22 players with glass ankles.
Anyway lets not hope it gets to that, we SHOULD see a beautiful and inspiring game of football...and I can't wait!

LMAO...looks like C.Ronaldo is hated the world over.
Every time he got the ball the german fans were booing and geering. Everytime he made a mistake they were cheering. ESPECIALLY when the silly little sod tried to show-off with a trick - which resulted in him giving the ball away to a German attacking midfielder!!! HAHA!!!
Boring 1st half of the match, better 2nd half. And what a send off for Oliver Khan & Luis Figo (undoubtably their last International Appearances for their counties) Khan had a great showing and Figo came on and made the goal by suppliying Nuno Gomes a beautiful ball.
Goodbye from the international game Luis, you were (and are) a true footballing great.

Pauleta has also announced it was his last game for the national team.
Germany deserved the win! With all the problems the portuguese squad had yesterday and only 2 days to rest it was almost impossible.
Yesterday they had weather problems that made them go to Frankfurt and wait for a few hours inside the plane untill the weather cleared in Stutgartt.

In the next 3 days he'll probably be confirmed as a new player for one of the Madrid teams (can't remember which team he said).
He didn't say it but he gave the idea of this.
