Yeah. Hamilton said in PK that there is no such mode at Mercedes. Do you believe it?

He didn't say there wasn't a mode. He said he did nothing different between Q2 and Q3.

In the race all 3 Renault powered teams are quite close together, where the Merc works team are far ahead of their customers and Ferrari are way ahead of Sauber and clearly ahead of Haas (who are running a close approximation of last year's Ferrari anyway).

Can anything be read into that?

Is there an advantage to Renault of all 3 of their teams being very competitive?

well, the both works mercedes team is by far the highest funded mercedes powered team (Force India, Williams), as well as the works ferrari team compared to Sauber and Haas, while the works renault team is the lowest funded of the three teams with a renault/TAG heuer engine in the back (RBR, McLaren).

As Iichel said, Merc/Ferrari have 2/3/ times more people/ressources/budgets then their customers. That's one obvious reason.
RB and Mclaren are also bigger than Renault which is still (re)building the team.
Is there an advantage to Renault? yes IMHO, RB and MCL are good benchmarks.

"I can assure you we don't have a party mode - I used the same mode from Q2 to the end of Q3".

He did say it to be fair.

How do they get away with so small radiators? Thicker cores? Probably at the expense of weight.

Probably some clever internal aero too, remember the SF15-T with its flap-covered radiators?

Eric B Said Enstone has more money than them.

Eric said Enstone has today more people than Mclaren. Which is true, but that happened just recently like this year. When Renault was in full recruitment mode with work staff. As for budget Renault is still lowest funded team of all 3 teams. And that budget will stay same till Renault doesnt prove on track with results they deserve bigger one.

Sorry I am not sure about "cassoncino di aspirazione" translation, it could be inlet air case (or maybe air intake system)

It translates to “airbox”.

You can see the actuator at the bottom near the inlets.
