What height/depth (how thick) do you do the floor? 10mm?
Mine is predominantly 5mm. If you look at the floor thickness, at the very outside edges, you can see it it much thinner than 1cm.

I would like to start building my own F1 car in Google sketchup. I just wanted to ask if you started out with some sort of a starter pack or did you guys build everything from scratch?

well I didn't use it so I don't really know where to get it from,,, ask Jordan GP

You will be unable to obtain a starter pack unless you are a member of Formula Sketch, or a pending member for 2013.

Yes, but for members of Formula Sketch, it isn't an issue, which was what I was stating.

Hopefully they'll get the site up and running again soon though.
