Sorry for taking this topic a bit off-topic, but is anyone else playing Gran Turismo Sport on the PS4? Just got it a few days ago and very much enjoy it. I think the online racing looks pretty good too, setting the right priorities.

I used to spent nights over nights chasing cars in N.I.C.E.2 https://www.mobygames.com/game/breakneck about 10 years ago. I always wanted to get into today's state of the art racing sims like Assetto Corsa but was shying the effort of diggin in so I stayed with freeware racing games like TORCS torcs.sourceforge.net that is enough for me. Recently tried the official F1 racing game from Codemasters on PS4, think this is pretty much the best.
I am all for getting an F1 2017 league going with the Codemasters game
I never liked the Codemasters games.
Always felt like I couldn't really dial in the setup, but last one I tried was 2009 on PS3.
I remember when Grid came out. There were rave reviews about it. I was very disappointed with the way the cars felt.

Gaming journalists are clueless about racing games. They can't complete a lap without wrecking what good is reading their opinion. And that's even before taking into account that their reviews are paid by game developers. Better not read them at all.
If you want to get a good idea about a game you can either:
- find a reviewer that specializes in sim racing but they could be paid by developers too
or
- go to twitch and find someone streaming it for a lot of viewers and ask for their opinion at least they won't be paid

Were you using a wheel or the gamepad? 2017 might be worth a try on a pc as it's quite cheap to snag right now on Steam.
G25 wheel
Good wheel! I am curious tho what kind of lap times people have been able to get in these games. I am like right about either matching the 2018 pole times or maybe about a half second off with the 2017 Mercedes in F1 2017.

Anyone planning on trying the new Forza Horizon 4 game? I'm going to play this one for the graphics and the open world element. Hopefully it's going to be fun.

Regarding AC mods, here's one I've been working on for nearly 3 years now.
3 years you say, are you mad!? Yeah probably, I sorta attempt to explain the reasoning behind it in this video, along with a 'fast' lap to show it off a bit.
Basically comes down to no reasonable logic behind making it, but really glad I did, as I've been able to work with some great people and on great projects off the back of it. Currently modelling official cars for the developers now, so its not a lost cause
