Well, I am pretty sure I know what type of site this is. I have been using BT clients for a while now. Anyone care to PM me more information on exactly what RU is? I will most likely want an intive too.

I think Max is a paid up RU man, but it wasn't initiated by him.

Not very knowledgable in this area; but always researching a wide variety of material. A question for the specifically knowledgable. Are these software solutions for international forum members to overcome the problem of being blocked out of the England/BBC live feeds of F1 races?

haha RU is an abbreviation of Racing-Underground, which is a torrent sites that provides torrents for motorsport-related files, such as past races, documentaries. The site has pretty much every series that you can think of. Everytime i missed a race that i wanted to watch, I go on RU and get download their torrent.

Unfortunately RU no longer accepts new registration. THe only way to join the site now is via an invite from an exisiting member. They used to have strict restriction on download-upload ratios to prevent certain users over-seeding and to prevent some members from simply downloading but not seeding. Existing members are responsible for the people they invited. So if someone I invited does not meet the upload-download ratio, I can be banned from the site. However the site is trialing new rules with free download-upload til the end of this year. So you can upload as much as you want and download as much as you want.

I gave out one invite before, that person registered but then after that he never uses the site. Furthermore, since the person i invited is my responsible as well, I don't give out invites anymore unless i know the person.
