I have a question. Based from the charts, can a driver still use for example engine 1, even though he already used engines 2, and 3?

Trulli, Glock and Kubica are on engine #4 according to what I heard on the TV.
Everyone except Glock, I think, is on a new gearbox too.

Has there been any indication of the teams changing engines between the Friday session and Saturday Practice / Qualifying...???
I wonder if the philosophy will evolve to using old engines on Friday. Since you can't re-build, you might as well run them out to maximum mileage on the Fridays.

Im having to go and rebuild my complete Bahrain data now as its innaccurate, but so far, that looks like thats what the teams have indications to do.
Im probably gonna have to totally rebuild the entire engine data fields of my Engine Usage page on my spreadsheet to represent this theory and indication so far.
The only certanty is that since Kubica had a engine let go in Malaysia, he is looking pretty bad for engines as his #2 engine has less than 500Km on it, where the average for the second engine so far is 1120Km.
Ciro Pabón - Do you have any new data i could source from as well???

So far; Kubica, 3 blown engines. Sutil and vettel, 2 blown. Toyota and Ferrari most relyable. STR In best shape for engines. Mercedes engines all in good shape, minus Sutil.

What are the red fields? I take it the light blue is 'blown' engine.

Blue: Blown
Red: Engine Life Cycle Completed (done 3 or 4 race weekends)

It looks like poor Kubica is going to have a hard end to his season engine wise. Two of his blown engines look to have only done one race distance and the third only 31km!
